This week, from May 9th to May 16th, Koko Black celebrates its grand reopening with a series of special events and offers that promise to enchant chocolate lovers.
Koko Black, a beloved Australian chocolate atelier, has recently reinvigorated its flagship store in Melbourne’s iconic Royal Arcade. Known for their finely crafted chocolates, Koko Black has been a cornerstone of Australian chocolate since opening in 2003. The refurbishment captures the essence of modern luxury while honouring the historical significance of its first location.
A Sweet Welcome
Every day, the first 50 customers through the doors of the Royal Arcade store will be greeted with a complimentary 16-piece chocolate box. This gesture ensures a delightful start for the early birds visiting the store.
Spin, Win, and Marvel at Chocolate Artistry
As part of the reopening festivities, visitors can engage in the ‘Spin & Win’ wheel game for a chance to snag instant prizes. Additionally, the craftsmanship of Senior Chocolatier, Pascal Armendariz, will be on full display. Attendees can witness the art of chocolate sculpting through live demonstrations scheduled each day of the celebration week.
An Evening of Chocolate Indulgence
The highlight of the reopening is a VIP event on Thursday, May 16th from 6:30 pm. The evening promises an exclusive experience starting with a flute of champagne and chocolate-coated strawberries upon arrival. Throughout the night, guests can indulge in a guided tasting session led by Koko Black’s chocolate experts. This will include sampling a variety of premium chocolates along with Koko Black’s signature hot chocolate.
Guests can also enjoy a 10% discount on all products during the event. The night concludes with a specially curated gift bag for each guest, featuring a custom-made 2-piece praline box—a perfect memento of the indulgent evening.
Sustainability and Craftsmanship at Heart
Koko Black’s commitment to quality and sustainability shines through in their products, which are made from 100% sustainably sourced cocoa. With no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives, each piece is not just a treat but a pure, handcrafted work of art. The chocolate range includes over 100 varieties, each crafted to provide a unique sensory experience.
