This year’s program boasts an array of partnerships between some of Melbourne’s yummiest eateries and popular breweries. Prepare to experience a celebration of top-notch beer, mouth-watering food, and thrilling adventures, as GBW continues to explore innovative ways to enjoy beer through a variety of diverse events.
Imagine the perfect pairing of Bluebonnet Barbecue and BentSpoke Brewing, which will present Tour de Land, Sea and Beers in Brunswick East. You’ll embark on a flavourful voyage through a four-course meal with specially matched beers, ranging from the open country to the depths of the ocean and fantastic fermenters.
In Collingwood, Aunty Kim’s is collaborating with Temple Brewery to offer a six-course banquet, perfectly paired with a selection of beers. Among these, a special brew created by Temple’s master brewer exclusively for the event will be featured. Expect a fusion of Southern Asian flavours from Rice Paper Scissors, but with an elegant twist.
Mountain Culture is hosting a Tap Takeover at Saving Grace throughout GBW, with six different taps of their beers, limited releases, and the opportunity to meet the brewer behind the magic. Chin Chin and Moon Dog are back together for another sell-out event, presenting a five-course menu of “Feed Me” favourites, paired with eight Moon Dog beers, including an exclusive Chin Chin x Moon Dog collaboration.
For those who crave more than just eating and drinking, GBW offers a range of experience-based events. Gaming and beer enthusiasts can relish the ultimate Boss Level Arcade Party, featuring a Garage Project Tap Takeover. Attendees will receive a welcome beer, five game tokens, and access to an exclusive selection of craft beers alongside a mix of classic and new arcade games.
Moon Dog and Renegades of Wrestling will team up for a bigger-than-ever event at The Industrique, presenting Brewery Brawl 3, and kicking off GBW with a double main event. Meanwhile, dog lovers can join Zymurgy for a shared can of Dog Nation – Dog Beer with their furry pals.
Bodriggy Brewing Company invites you to their inaugural torpedo competition at Victoria Park, where participants have a chance to win prizes while supporting the Scarf charity.
