Your very own delivered wine service is here and it’s as easy as 1-2-3.

We’ve all been in a similar situation. You’re dining at a top class restaurant halfway around the world and the wine they’ve just poured you is second to none. You make a note to ask the waiter but end up getting distracted as the night rolls by. It isn’t until you’re back and ready for bed that it suddenly hits you – you don’t know what the what the wine is called and have no idea where to get it. This is where TextWine comes in.

Wine retailer, Jagdev Singh, started TextWine as a solution to this problem after seeing so many instances of missed wine opportunities. If there is a particular wine you’re looking to buy, all you need to do is snap a photo of the bottle and text it to Singh. Him and his team will then find what you’re looking for and deliver it to your door. Don’t have a photo of the bottle? No worries, you can direct message a description of the wine and they’ll try their best to match it for you.

To use the service, you pay a $10 fee to join (which is then taken off your first order). You will then get a brief call to set up your tasting profile and establish what wine you’re after. After that, you’re all set up and ready to use TextWine. Singh will source the wine you’re looking for at the best price possible then message you back with the costs. You can double check everything is good to go before committing to buy, and your credit card is on file so there’s no need for pesky online shopping carts. Once you’ve agreed on the price, the wine is delivered and comes straight to your door – with free shipping!

For Singh, TextWine isn’t just about buying top notch premium wines, but instead about providing a personal service and helping you fall even more in love with drinking wine. “We can do the high end, but it’s not about that. People do it when they’re out for dinner with their mates. They take a photo and I get back to them in five minutes with a price.”
