The Central Coast is getting its most ambitious hospitality project in years with voco Gosford and The Archibald Precinct launching December 1st.
The standout attraction is Astra, a Japanese-inspired izakaya perched on Level 28, making it the highest dining venue in the region.
Michelin-trained Executive Chef Maxime Chasseriaud brings serious credentials to this rooftop destination, where the focus is fire-driven Japanese technique. The hibachi grill uses premium binchōtan charcoal to sear meats and seafood, finishing them in a specialized charcoal oven that locks in juices while building layers of smokiness and deep umami flavors. The theatrical presentation combines precision cooking with bold simplicity.
Beyond Astra, The Archibald Precinct houses multiple dining venues including Ironbark steakhouse, authentic Italian at Paolo’s, and family-friendly Archie’s pub. The accompanying voco hotel features 130 rooms with bay or city views, plus a podium-level pool with swim-up bar service.
Bookings are noe open here.
