Last Wednesday night Tia Maria launched its very first Aussie Tia Maria Room at The Standard in Darlinghurst. The night featured an array of Tia Maria inspired cocktails and drinks (Tia Maria Espresso Martini – a must try), as well as an exclusive collaboration between DJ Alison Wonderland and pop singer Owl Eyes.
The Standard was completely transformed into a New York loft-esque music arena where guests ate, drank and danced the night away to the cool beats and vibrant vocals of the Alison Wonderland and Owl Eyes duo.
Next the Tia Maria Room is set to hit Melbourne town at the Ding Dong Lounge in the Chinatown district. Channel V star Danny Clayton will hit the decks and go head to head with Danny McNamee from Australian band Art vs Science.

Tia Maria summer cocktails
Tia Espresso Martini
30 ml TIA MARIA
30 ml ESPRESSO
45 ml VODKA
15 ml LIQUID SUGAR
COFFEE BEANS
Combine all ingredients together with crushed ice in a boston and shake. Pour into a martini glass and garnish with coffee beans.
Tia Ginger
45 ml TIA MARIA
TOP GINGER BEER
15 ml FRESH LIME JUICE
Pour ingredients into a highball glass filled with ice and garnish with fresh mint
Dark Maria
30 ml TIA MARIA
30 ml DARK RUM
COLA
Pour the ingredients into a highball glass filled with ice and stir. Garnish with a slice of lime.
