Over the last 10 years, Zushi’s Darlinghurst and Surry Hills eateries have become go-to destinations for Japanese-crazed foodies far and wide. And now, this thriving institution has opened yet another store in the newly developed streets of Barangaroo. With one of the world’s most beautiful harbours acting as the backdrop, you’ve now got no excuse to hold off checking out this latest development.
Best news of all, they are gearing up for the race that stops the nation, with a special lunch package. Come Tuesday 1st November, you’re invited to enjoy their signature take on traditional Japanese cuisine. For $99 per head, patrons will be served an indulgent seven course set menu to share, with complimentary glass of French bubbles on arrival.
Your lunch will start with freshly shucked oysters, the perfect accompaniment to that glass of champagne. You’ll then move onto the sashimi and sushi boat followed by their signature rolls. From there, you’ll get the chance to sample the Chefs tempura, wagyu steak and tuna steak. Be sure to keep enough room for your last course, a Japanese inspired dessert yet to be announced!
It wouldn’t be the Melbourne cup without plenty of frocks, fascinators and well-suited gentlemen to match. Zushi gives you even more reason to dress to impress, with multiple prizes on offer for the best dressed on the day. A sweep will be available for anyone keen for a flutter!
