Barangaroo’s newest rooftop bar is now open- meet Untied.
Adding to our list of the best Sydney Rooftop Bars is Untied. Neatly located amongst the buildings in The Streets of Barangaroo, Untied has joined a long list of exciting new restaurants and venues in the area. It’s the only rooftop bar in the precinct and we are pumped to check it out – sunglasses and floppy hats at the ready.
Bringing connotations of tiki tingles, wild animals and rawness, Untied is inspired by bold tropical tones and colour. Combining modern Australian cuisine with sleek tunes and the ambience of a tropical lifestyle, expect a haven for cocktail lovers and sun-seeking souls.
Untied is housed within a modern, industrial building, surrounded by lush greenery and vivid furniture. The sleek marble bar looks like the perfect place to live out your fantasy of dancing on top with a drink in your hand with a Tarzan look alike on your arm. Wait, that’s just my fantasy.
The venue accommodates a spacious setting for up to 260 patrons, including both an indoor- and outdoor area. Concertina glass divides the two seating areas, creating a more open and welcoming ambiance.
With emphasis on an Australian well-kept theme, Untied has managed to stay balanced between modern design and a chic style of the spectrum.
The sharing style menu features fresh, light bar food and contemporary BBQ dishes, using locally sourced products. The raw bar will present a daily selection of seasonal oysters topped with a variety of interesting garnishes, amongst them being jaboticaba and vanilla. Delicious and fresh dishes such as snapper, octopus and popcorn prawns are also to be found on their menu.
United welcomed us to the jungle on the 25th of January, and are set to trade from 12pm till late, all days of the week.
