Mudgee Wine and Food Festival 2016

Drink, Events, Sydney / 27 July 2016

Head to Balmoral for a taste of Mudgee wine and more

On Sunday the 14th of August thousands of people will flock to Balmoral Beach to enjoy good food, great wine and even better company for the Mudgee Wine and Food Festival. Returning for its 26th year the festival continues to hold its title for the longest running regional wine and food fair in Sydney, and with good reason.
Each year Balmoral Beach foreshore plays host to the pop-up, so festival-goers can enjoy the ocean breeze and sparkling water throughout the day.
Mudgee Wine and Food Festival is an opportunity to sample some of the best regional produce in New South Wales including wine, beer, cheese, pickles, and honey. Guests will also get the chance to interact with Mudgee Region representatives where they’re encouraged to put the phrase ‘the only stupid question is the one you don’t ask’ to good use.

Returning veterans of the festival include Huntington Estate Wines, Robert Stein Vineyard, and Mudgee Honey Haven. A variety of food stalls will be available to keep you well fed throughout the day or you’re welcome to pack your own picnic.
The Mudgee Wine and Food Festival is a great place for a Sunday session. So pack your hat, picnic rug and wine-tasting shoes for a memorable day out.
