Future Sound of Yoga Halloween Special

Health & Wellness, Play, Sydney / 26 October 2016

Future Sound of Yoga present a dreamy, haunting and atmospheric yoga party.

There’s more to Halloween than eating copious amounts of candy, fancy dress costumes and raging parties. Although all of those certainly make for a good time. For something more health focused check out Future Sound of Yoga’s Halloween Special. For two special nights this Thursday 27th and Friday 28th October, the Future Sound of Yoga is hosting a sensory experience where dark and dreamy electronica music and yoga are combined. The sessions are set to feature a variety of yoga styles, including vinyasa flow, yin yoga and meditation.

At the helm of the Halloween mix is SOLON, an English electronic musician based in Sydney. Representing one half of the Future Sound of Music duo, his yoga mixes and compositions have been streamed over 50,000 times across 56 countries around the world. Featuring almost an hour long track are names such as Boards of Canada, Radiohead, James Blake, Nils Frahm, Imogen Heap and many more.

The sessions are spilt into Flow and Fire categories on Thursday and Friday nights respectively. Flow is designed to have a slightly more relaxed pace, while Fire is set to bring the heat with greater intensity and dancing to finish off the night.

Both Flow and Fire sessions will unfold in Paddington’s Uniting Church. Each session will run from 7.00-8.30pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm to give you plenty of time to warm up. Be warned, doors will be closed 10 minutes into the session, so make sure you’re on time with your yoga mat.  Tickets for the event are strictly limited and available via their website here:  https://futuresoundofyoga.iwannaticket.com.au
