The Indigo Project is Hosting Free Nap Classes

Play, Sydney / 20 December 2017

Rest and recharge in the midst of Christmas madness with free 20 minute nap classes.

In between the flowing Champagne and mince pies, many people would agree that Christmas can be a touch tiresome. If shopping for presents, meeting end-of-year deadlines and heading to boozy Christmas parties has you feeling exhausted, it’s time to book yourself in The Indigo Project. At this Surry Hills mindfulness studio, you’ll find FREE 20 minute nap classes hosted between 18th – 22nd December.
Aptly titled ‘Naptime’, these classes are designed to help you feel refreshed, relaxed and more focused. In a darkened room, you’ll find an array of blankets, pillows and eye masks. During the class, a psychologist will guide a relaxation meditation to help you drift off. Based on research that suggests 20 minutes is the optimal time for a nap, classes run for 20-24 minutes, starting each day at 1pm.
According to The Indigo Project, your nap is designed to leaving you feeling rejuvenated and ready to face the festive madness.
“Research has shown that a short sleep break can improve mood, alertness, concentration, and overall productivity – so why not?” says Founder & Head Psychologist, Mary Hoang. “Our 30-minute Naptime class is perfect for a little mid-work escape and reboot. Chill out in a comfy space, get relaxed with a calming meditation then nap off that stress”
