EAT

From breakfast to dinner, you can’t go wrong with a sit down meal with family for Fathers Day. Here is our definitive guide to brunch in Sydney, with a great recommendation for where to take your parents. For a meal with the whole family, reserve a booth at Jamie Oliver’s Trattoria in Parramatta. Or if you are looking for big hearty meals, head to Zetland for some Ribs and Burgers.  If you want to celebrate a few days earlier, The Grounds of Alexandria will be hosting Feast, a night of entertainment and food. If you are looking a budget-friendly night out, here is our list of cheap eats in Surry Hills. Celebrate your dad with a FREE meal at La Scala and The Morrison, plus your chance to win 1 of 20 Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafe gift cards here!

DRINK

We know many dads out there love to sink a pint in celebration, so take him to a new bar and make a day of it! Oxford Street is the home of Bitter Phew, a small bar specialising in craft beer from all over the world. There are plenty of beers and bourbons on offer at The Keg and Brew in Surry Hills. For the rum lovers out there, there are over 35 rums on offer at the recently opened Rosie Campbells Rum Bar. We haven’t forgotten about the men who love a whiskey, check out The Clock. Or the guys out there pining for a good cocktail… try The Angry Pirate. We shouldn’t leave out all of the Tequila at Barrio Cellar should we? For more tips on bars, check out our interview with The Beer Pilgrim.
Shout your dad a ticket to the Sydney Craft Beer Week, where he can taste his way through 130 events in 9 days!
