You’re invited to a Melbourne Cup lawn party at Centennial Homestead!
When the clock strikes 3pm on Melbourne Cup Day, where will you be? For those looking to celebrate in style, Centennial Homestead is holding its inaugural Melbourne Cup event on the lawn on Tuesday, November 1. Centennial Homestead is situated deep in the heart of Sydney’s Centennial park. On your typical spring day, you’ll find active-wear laden fitness fanatics doing laps around the tracks, couples enjoying picnics and dogs lapping up the sunshine. However come November 1st, this picturesque setting will set the mood for the ultimate garden party.
Kicking off at midday until 3pm, guests will be treated to a shared feast, live jazz band, Melbourne Cup screen live from the big screens and a glass of bubbles on arrival. Don’t forget to dress to impress! Those donning the best frocks, fascinators and suits to match will join the Fashions on the Field with a grand prize drawn for best dressed on the day.
Tickets cost $95.00 per person, which includes a shared feast, live jazz band and a glass of bubbles on arrival. If you’re looking to enjoy more than just one glass of bubbles, for additional $45.00 per person, you can enjoy a three hour beverage package for your friends and colleagues.
Don’t worry, the party won’t stop after the big race is over! From 3pm – 6pm, there will be an assortment of live music and a pop up bar serving drinks and snacks on the lawn to help continue the celebrations.
