Sweethearts Rooftop Cinema has date night sorted with FREE screenings each week on their rooftop!
Date night can be known to burn hole in your pocket, but it need not be that way with plenty of cool free activities floating around Sydney. Back by popular demand, Sweethearts Rooftop are hopping on the budget friendly bandwagon with rooftop cinema screenings hosted during winter. The best part? It’s free!
The next screening kicks off tonight (2oth June), running every Tuesday and Wednesday from 7pm. You’ll find comedic classics like Zoolander and Anchorman, plus Dumb & Dumber and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. As we transition into mid-July, keep your eyes peeled for screenings of The Wolf of Wall Street, The Hangover, Edward Scissorhands and 8 Mile.
Sweethearts Rooftop is also serving up the perfect winter movie accompaniment – popcorn! On the drinks front, expect a range of warm cocktails including the classic Hot Toddy to keep you feeling cosy during the screening. If you’re looking for something more substantial though, patrons are welcome to dive headfirst into the regular food menu. Here you’ll find the likes of delicious arancini ($12), a range of pizza specials, smoked brisket and more.
If you happen to arrive early, Sweethearts also does happy hour from 4-6pm. We’ll cheers to that.
