Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project

Drink, Sydney / 8 September 2011

What gave it away, the vespas parked outside an Italian cafe? The meatballs? The Italian flag on the plasma screen behind the pop-up bar? Despite the obvious signs I think I was the only one who didn’t twig that this years Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange would be serving us a slice of Italy as announced at the launch tonight. On November 12th Australians will be partying Italian style thanks to Smirnoff. The annual event aims to unite the world through party nightlife taking ideas and inspiration from the public about what they think is iconic to their country. Drinks, dance, fashion, music and places contribute to a one night only unique event.
People can win tickets by making suggestions online at www.facebook.com/SmirnoffAustralia. Madonna will attend one of the selected Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project experiences and one lucky fan may get the opportunity to join Madonna on her next tour as one of her dancers.
I was personally hoping for Mexico, any excuse to wear a fake moustache kind of has me excited. I guess I’d better work on my Italian instead.
