The Sydney Festival is in full swing and the Festival Village is where all the action is taking place in the heart of the city. Hyde Park has been transformed into the perfect pre or post show hang hub with a full program including The Famous Spiegeltent, a giant art installation, food and drink stalls and free yoga sessions.

Double Down Diner
Porteno and Gelato Messina have teamed up to bring you the Double Down Diner with a menu full of authentic southern American diner food. With crowd-pleasing diner classics such as the philly cheese steak, chilli dogs and more, you can also expect to see the mouthwatering sweet-side of the diner including the Lemon Meringue Pie, the Nutty Piefessor and Cherry Pie.
LP Bar
Celebrate summer and the art of Sydney with a glass of Lauren-Perrier at Sydney Festival. As one of the finest Champagne Houses in the world, LP will launch an exclusive new bar at the Festival Village. The bar will be serving Piccolos plus the full range of Laurent-Perrier Champagnes. Open from 4:30 pm till 2 am every Tuesday – Sunday.
Bar Pho
Open from 11 am onwards, you can swing by and grab yourself some of Bar Pho’s special phumplings (pho and dumplings). They will also be offering original Pho and their own Banh Mi filled with BBQ lemongrass sesame pork, pickled carrot, cucumber dressed with Vietnamese mayo and served on a warm crusty baguette.
Bite Size Delights
The Bite Size Delights food truck will be joining the Sydney Festival Village at 11 am every Tuesday – Sunday where you can enjoy the flavours of their special Shawarma grill.
Jafe Jaffles
With their yellow Kombi van, Jafe Jaffles will be ready at Hyde Park to keep your bellies full. They will be offering golden hot pockets filled with leg ham, cheese and tomato, slow cooked wagyu with coleslaw and pineapple chilli jam, or braised pork belly with cabbage and mayo. For dessert try the flavoured shaved ice with strawberry syrup and milk dressing.
Cheesesmith
Expect pyramids of ash-rubbed, matured goat cheese, double cream bries with truffles, comte and cheddars. No wonder it’s called the Cheesesmith. They’ll be offering platters with one, three, four or five chesses with accompanying quince, relish, and walnut logs. This is a good stop for a pre-show appetite.
