We’ve got some bad news and some good news.
The bad news is that last Friday night there was a fire at Surry Hills 2 hat restaurant Porteño and it caused some damage. This means that it has closed for a while for renovations.
The good news is that no one was hurt and they’ve found an alternative location to continue feeding us until the restaurant is redone. (Hooray!)
Head to 10 Nield Avenue, Rushcutters Bay, where Keystone venue Ruschcutters used to be, and you’ll find a special Argentinian style menu including a selection of both bistro and regional classics.
While the Cleveland Street building undergoes repairs, POPteño will be open from the 28th of January at 6 pm and every Wednesday to Saturday. Make sure to get in while you can. They’re here for a good time not a long time.
