Pinot Palooza returns in all its wine-filled glory!
Pinot Palooza is back bigger and more burgundy than ever! The largest Pinot and music festival in the southern hemisphere has returned to Sydney and Melbourne.
This October, Australia’s finest red wine grape variety will continue its Australian tour. You can expect fine red wine, great beats and a rocking food line up.
The Bottle Shop Concepts is celebrating its 5 year anniversary of Pinot Palooza with yet another sell-out, vino extravaganza. This year features some of the best Pinot Noir from over 100 of Australia and New Zealand’s best wine producers.
The Festival promises ‘no pesky tokens’, meaning unlimited access to all wines, all day. Repeat offenders like Dalrymple (Tasmania), Greywacke (Marlborough), and Yabby Lake (Mornington Peninsula) are all back for the fifth year running. Other Pinot Noir producers include, Stefano Lubiana, Shaw + Smith, and Pegasus Bay, to name just a few.
Beer will also be provided for those seeking a different palette. Young Henry’s Beer will cover Sydney’s cold bevs. Whereas Melbourne will be looked after by Sample Brew.
To fill your belly, be prepared for a feast! Both Melbourne and Sydney will be graced by the fried chicken gods, Belles Hot Chicken. Of course, Yarra Valley Dairy will be providing their finest cheeses to both locations, perfectly complimenting your choice of red.
Sydneysiders will also be joined by Surry Hills tapas spot Bodega. Melbournians definitely won’t be missing out with wood-smoked meat experts Burn City Smokers, spoiling you for choice.
Alongside them, are specialty butcher and wine merchants, Meatsmith. For a different taste, the Italian experts at Ladro, will provide pizza and other wine-abusing snacks.
A standard ticket ($60), includes unlimited tastings of all wines available on the day and a free gift from PLUMM Vintage, a PlumB crystal wine glass (valued at $35).
For the hardcore fans, forking out a bit extra will get you the VIP experience. For $95, your VIP ticket will include exciting exclusives like pre-event access from 11am-1pm. Food vouchers, alongside specially selected Burg Bar tasting (three wines) are included.
VIPs will also be granted special time with the city’s best sommeliers. The sommelier roadies will personally curate your experience by asking for your individual preferences, and recommending up to six wineries that you should explore.
