When travelling to New York there are two things you can be sure of: One, you will get lost on the subway and two, You will make friends with someone who has a rooftop. There is no shortage of rooftop space and come a public holiday day, of which there a many, people flock upwards to fire up a barbie. In the summertime you can see gatherings and groups rejoicing above the city block to block.
