New Lobster Liquor Burger

In the heart of Paddington, upstairs at The London Hotel is where you’ll find Lobster Liquor Burger. This new eatery and bar has taken over the reigns from Chur bringing a crustacean twist to the menu.
A lot is still the same. Expect graffiti style pictures on the walls, the same cocktail list, classic hip hop tunes and hits from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
The burger list is almost exactly the same as it was under the Chur name and still $10 each. This includes beef, vegan, chicken, lamb and pulled pork. But what you really want to try is the new seafood section.
There’s the Popcorn Lobster ($15) that comes served in a small basket with about six pieces of crispy lobster served with a side of lemon aioli. This is a tasty snack or starter. You’ll need to try more.

The Lobster Roll ($15) is made with salt and pepper crispy lobster chunks, lemon aioli, chives, red onion and iceberg lettuce served on a crusty Vietnamese roll. The lobster tastes great but the sauce is a overkill and drowns the other ingredients. Maybe ask for sauce on the side.

The Prawn Roll ($15) is made with fresh tiger prawns, avocado, iceberg lettuce and cocktail sauce served in a toasted vietnamese roll. All the ingredients compliment each other perfectly. It’s fresh, flavoursome and feels like the healthier alternative to the Lobster Roll. It’s light but still filling.

Our favourite dish on the new menu is definitely the Crab Burger ($15) made with crispy soft shell crab, chilli Singapore sauce and Asian slaw. The bun is fresh and is our preferred way of eating this dish but if you’re gluten intolerant or think carbs are the enemy they also offer to serve this wrapped in letter cups instead. It’s a bit trickier to eat but a healthier alternative.
Make sure to heave plenty of napkins handy- all dishes are super messy but that’s all part of the experience.
If you want to stay clear of burgers all together they offer three salads, Classic Waldorf, Lobster Cobb, and Prawn Cocktail.
