Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival 2012
Tempus Two is the perfect sponsor for the Fashion Festival and Fashion Week, with their focus on creating wine that tastes as good as it looks. Before the show we ate at Bistrode CBD and were given the chance to sample some wines. The 2011 Pewter Pinot Gris was fresh and fruity with some acidity, working well with our entree’s of Ham and Cheese Croquettes and a Pumpkin, Beetroot, Goats Curd & Pumpkin Seed Salad. The 2010 Pewter Shiraz, sourced from the Barossa Valley, was the perfect accompaniment to the main, a hearty bold red with loads of flavour packing a punch.

And then it was off to the show. You’d be hard pressed to find a more stunning backdrop to the Fashion Festival than Sydney’s Town Hall, adding a bit of that old Hollywood glamour.
The best thing about the Fashion Festival is that the looks on show will be readily available in stores almost immediately, as apposed to Fashion Week which is aimed more at fashion buyers.
