Lunch at China Doll

[ 2 ] May 18, 2011 |

It’s a rare occasion I get to meet up with my girlfriends during the week for a long lunch. So, when two of my besties were free a few Friday’s ago we hit China Doll at Woolloomooloo Wharf. It was a gorgeous sunny day, full of surprises and suits. We ordered 2 entrees, 1 main dish and a bottle of wine between the three of us. Surprise no. 1 Our bill was $50 each including tip…bargain, I was expecting it to be higher. Surprise no. 2 being outside in the sun we were all squinting. The lovely waiter brought out a bag of sunglasses for us to wear. They weren’t very stylish but they did provide some Friday arvo fun!

  1. Susan says:

The eggplant and tofu dish looks wonderful. I love eating at places by the water.

  2. They were really delicious Susan and you’re right, it is so nice by the water. I recommend Woolloomooloo Wharf for lazy lunches any day!
