They’ve been there for us through thick and thin, in times of need and moments of celebration. Now, it’s time to give back, take a moment to say thanks and show our appreciation for those who we’ve come to love and adore. It’s time to celebrate Sydney’s best bartenders and our increasing number of amazing bars about town.
Next Monday 24th October the Time Out Bar Awards are back for the 4th year running and it’s going to be a party to remember. You’re all invited to The Standard, a new bar in Taylor Square for a night of burlesque, bands, and world-renowned chef Lennox Hastie serving up some amazing food.
Toast the city’s bar culture with cocktails including a Buffalo Trace Maple Old Fashioned, the Patron Perfect Margarita and Green Fairy Original Czech Absinth Wicked Party Punch.
Time Out will announce the winners of the highly anticipated 2012 bar awards and reveal more about the brand new 2012 Bar Guide. The guide is the first of its kind for the Sydney bar scene and highlights over 220 of the city’s best pubs, small bars, wine bars and cocktail bars. It will be on sale for $4.95 and free for a limited time to Time Out magazine subscribers.
