Experience the people, passion and produce of the Barossa right here in Sydney as part of Good Food Month. A two level terrace in Paddington has been transformed in to the Barossa Homestead with each room showcasing Barossa wine, food and produce for passionate wine and food enthusiasts.

Meet South Australian artisans including Lachlan Colwill from Hentley Farm, Stuart Angus from Hutton Vale and more. Below is the full list of the participating artisans. Barossa is now at the heart of the Australian wine industry and is one of the world’s finest wine-growing regions. This event offers the opportunity to get a real feel of the best of the Barossa.

The event will run from today until Sunday 12th of October. Each day there will be a different group of artisans to welcome you to the Barossa extravaganza. Spaces are limited and registration at their website is required for a FREE guest pass.

To celebrate we have TWO special Barossa Homestead hampers to giveaway with $80 worth of produce.

For your chance to win, leave a comment below telling us your favourite thing about the Barossa and why. Most creative answers will win the hamper. The winners will be notified tomorrow on Thursday 9 October at 1 pm via email. To collect their prize the winners will need to register on the Barossa Homestead website, book a day to visit the pop-up in Duxford Street, Paddington. The hamper will be waiting for you.

The giveaway hamper will include:

  • Bottle of Hentley Farm Wine
  • Tathra Homestead estate grown extra virgin olive oil and homemade dukkah 
  • Maggie Beer Pheasant Farm quince paste
