For a long time Alma has been a locals secret in Darlinghurst, loved by many for their great coffee and eggs benedict.  Now, they’re broadening their serving schedule and delivering some of the best Portuguese cuisine Sydney has to offer. The secret is out.

Alma means ‘soul’ in Portuguese and there is plenty of it at this establishment. The ambiance here is beautifully matched to it’s name, downstairs features old comfy armchairs and fascinating sculptures at the counter. Upstairs a mural of a Portuguese seascape lines the wall and a cute little patio with the perfect amount of light coming in from the street below. The food is wholesome and authentic. There is plenty of Alma put into this cooking.

Each dish is available as an entree or main so you can choose to share with friends or have it all to yourself. A Portuguese only wine list compliments the food and owner Michelle and her mum are there to make you feel at home.
